Arrgggh! Web Site Changes…

Please bear with me while I am in the process of making a few changes to my site.  Hopefully the end result will be one that will make the transition forgettable!  In the meantime, your slideshow song selections are in the vault and should be up again in the next day or so…when you view your slideshow now it will just continue to play the main page selection.

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph recently engaged Jennifer and Russ yesterday at Ponce Inlet.  Thought I would share a sneak peek of their photos – more to come on my site for a slideshow in the next couple of days.  It was a pleasure to meet and photograph these two from my home state of Georgia!  And by the way, her ring is absolutely stunning!!!

The Lache Kids

One of the things I love most about my photography is getting to know the kids that I photograph, even if it’s just for an hour or more.  I find it very interesting to look at my photos from the beginning of the shoot and then at the end.  Towards finishing any shoot, kids know they are almost finished with this “chore” of smiling on command and start to finally relax.  This is when I feel I get some of my best shots – this one above we were almost finished and even got baby Tori in on the action.  This will end up being one of my favorite shots and has been placed on the front page of my site for now at www.lauriandrewsphotos.com. 

I usually like to take some goofy photos as well towards the end, so I make sure I end up where my favorite backdrops are at the beach so I won’t miss these relaxed shots.  I’m sure there are other photographers who notice the same thing…feel free to share!
